Who I Am and How to Contact Me
My name is Amy and I am a singer/actor living in the western suburbs of Chicago. I’ve been involved with music and theater since the age of 5 when I sang my first solo in church. I grew up in southern Wisconsin, where I performed with 4-H, school, community and church groups. At 17 I founded and directed a 4-H Show Choir for Rock County that is still going today (though I handed over the reins long, long ago)! I went to college in Iowa and have a BM in Vocal Performance as well as certification to teach K-12 music. After college I took a break from performing to teach middle school and high school music for a while, and then gave that up in favor of being a stay at home mom and raising our 2 little “angels”. Eventually I found my way back to the stage in 2005 and since then I have been involved in several non-professional theater groups with shows including Jekyll & Hyde (performed in the oldest remaining music hall in London, UK), Romance/Romance, and A Year With Frog and Toad. I was most recently seen on stage in WDI’s season opener, The Drowsy Chaperone.
This website is dedicated to reviewing non-professional, community productions and is entirely my opinion. You may or may not agree with me, but I will strive to be honest about all performances without being insulting.
I’ll review your show!!
Give me a ticket and I will write a review of your non-professional production and post it here. Simply contact me with details:
